Build Me A Website

Thank you for choosing to me to design your website. I can’t tell you how happy I am to help you take the next step in sharing your talents with the world!

 So what happens next?

Hopefully you have read through the information on the Plans page and I have an idea of which plan suits you best and how I work. If you haven’t, please read through that before going any

further. It’s also a good idea to have a look through my Portfolio and see what you do and don’t like. If you like this website, that’s a good start.

Once you are happy to continue, there are 3 things you should do next:

1)     Fill in the CONSULTATION FORMThis will help us both get clear on what you want

2)     Read through the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. You will be required to sign to say you have read and agree to these when the contract is signed prior to work starting, so best to make sure you’re happy from the outset (it’s pretty standard legal jargon)

3)     Start preparing your content (the consultation form will help you get clear on this) as the sooner you get this to me the sooner we can get started. I can give you some guidance once I have read the form but it’s best to get a head start.

If you feel you aren’t quite ready to  fill in the consultation form but want to get the ball rolling feel free to drop me a line via my contact form and we can have an informal chat (I’m happy to provide my phone number via email if you prefer). The most important thing is you TAKE ACTION and start to share your skills and talents with the world!

Then what?

I will take a look at the form and give you a final quote and turnaround time. If you have chosen the Essential Plan and your requirements fit within the terms described this should be the fixed price of £300. Any extras may be quoted for additionally and the other 2 plans will be quoted from the published starting prices

If you are happy to go ahead, I will send you a contract and payment options. 50% of the fee is payable up front and 50% on completion. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more info on this. Payments can be made via bank transfer or Paypal and I will provide an invoice and receipt

Are we done yet?

Pretty much! Once the initial steps above are completed, (sorry they were a bit boring) you should be able to sit back and leave the rest to me. I will work with as little consultation as possible and then you will be able to view the site and make reasonable changes (yup, read the T&C’s ). This process should take around 2-4 weeks depending on the type of site. Then the site will go live and payment will be due within 7 days.

What next?

You will need to have a think about whether you are happy to maintain and update your site yourself – both content and what we call the ‘backend’ which is all the technical stuff the public don’t see. Have a read of my Maintenance page and decide if you want to do this yourself or have me maintain it for you.
